What does eat real food mean? Eat foods that were raised or grown in a sustainable manner and are as close to their natural, unprocessed state as possible.
California cuisine: fresher foods, light sauces, ahi tuna & salmon, vegatables beyond leafy greans, and tapas.
My mouth waters just thinking about it. You always feel satisfied with even the smallest portions because this food is made with the senses in mind - not just filling the stomache.
I can't wait to see and sample some of your recipes! I grew up with heavy sauces - delicious, but not necessarily very healthy. What my mom did provide, was variety and an artist's view of menu prep. Her belief was that you should always have a colorful plate with green, red/orange and yellow or beige. So in addition to bread and meat, there was always something green and another vegetable of another color. It seems the more colorful the plate, the healthier the meal!
